Andy is just your typical shy, unassuming, under-achieving, good-natured 40 year old male virgin, forced to do something with his libido by work mates whose desire to help falls pretty far short of simple altruism. That really is pretty much it, but this is a sweet natured comedy that gamely puts Andy through merry hell in his initially reluctant pursuit of love. Lots of spot on farce (the waxing, speed dating and "you know how I know your gay" remarks to name a few), some sharp observations, and a string of supporting characters who very nearly steal the show from our likeably undemonstrative hero.
