Plot

Yet another superfluous Hollywood remake of a Japanese horror flick sees Jennifer Connelly playing a young mother, Dahlia Williams, trying to start a new life with her daughter after the break-up of her marriage. With little money coming in, she moves into an apartment in a ramshackle complex in the suburbs, but far from providing a fresh start, the move adds more pressure as tensions between Dahlia and her ex-husband escalate and the apartment springs some nasty looking leaks. As things get soggy, Dahlia has to fight to protect her sanity and her daughter from a malevolent force that will stop at nothing to get what it wants.
