Plot

The Krank's only daughter, Blair, has finally flown the nest and as Christmas approaches they decide to escape the cold and take a tropical Island cruise. Bizarrely this doesn't go down well with the neighbours (who feel some kind of festive mutiny is taking place) and with the surprise arrival of Blair and her fiancé, Mr and Mrs Krank find they've got an awful lot of bridge building to do if Christmas is going to be anything other than a disaster. Adapted from John Grisham's ‘Skipping Christmas' this is a surprisingly enjoyable family comedy.
