Alan Hakman is a 'cutter', in a world where you can have your whole life recorded onto an implanted microchip it is his job to edit together a fitting memorial for your loved ones upon your death. Alan is no stranger to secrets, both those he works with and his own, and it is those secrets that threaten his life when he discovers something too shattering to conceal. The Final Cut is a gently simmering sci-fi thriller with some original and thought-provoking ideas, suitably dour performances and muted cinematography.
