Plot

Still haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father 16 years previously, Tim returns to his childhood home after the death of his mother but finds that his adolescent nightmares of the bogeyman are more real than he dared to believe. Another shocker from the production offices of horrormeister Sam Raimi borrows heavily from his j-horror hits ‘The Ring’ and ‘The Grudge’ as well as a host of other recent genre fare like ‘Darkness Falls’ and ‘They’. Slick and atmospheric but offering nothing new.
