Will Smith is Hitch, the master matchmaker, or ‘consultant’ as he would prefer to be called, a man who has devoted his considerable charms to helping his fellow man grab and bag the women of their dreams. It is only when columnist Sara decides to investigate the date doctor that Hitch’s life begins to unravel, because unbeknown to the two of them the woman he’s dating may well turn out to be his nemesis. Hitch is an amiable, unremarkable romantic comedy powered along almost entirely by Will Smith’s on screen charisma.
