Tony, Tony, Tony, is it really all worth it? Why the man continues to do what he does when the anguished emotional turmoil involved consistently reaches the level of Shakespearean tragedy, is really the only criticism I can think of to hurl at this relentlessly excellent series. The separation's not going well, his paroled nephew gives him the creeps, his rival is out for revenge and his therapist isn't falling for the old 'hard man soft man' line... some jobs just ask too much of a person.
