Richard is a pro at the con, his confident bluster more than a match for the unwary victim. Rodrigo is a young man who's chosen the same line of work, but would seem to lack Richard's finesse. After an apparently chance meeting the two men find themselves reluctant partners in a con that could set them up for life, but when the truth is an anathema to everything you say and do, the chance that both men will close the deal happy is very slim indeed. Criminal is a tight, well acted thriller, with plenty of dry cynical humour and more than enough twists, unfortunately it is a remake of the Argentinean film ‘Nine Queens'…which is even better.
