Plot

So Greg finally, agonisingly, got the agreement of his girlfriend's anally challenged, ex-CIA father to propose to her, and all is good. Unfortunately, dad wants to meet the Focker clan: a couple at opposite ends of the 'chill' spectrum to Greg's prospective father-in-law. Meet The Fockers is very similar to the first film, just with all the elements of surprise removed, and at two hours it begins to feel like the cinematic equivalent of a lonely hearts ad professing to have "a great sense of humour". Not without the odd giggle, but then it's only human nature to laugh at the discomfort of others, I just don't think Dustin Hoffman thought he'd be the focus.
