THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (2003)
JOEL SCHUMACHER
Plot
When beautiful, but naïve, understudy Christine finds herself headlining the opera house she becomes an instant sensation, adored not just by the audiences but also by the Phantom, a disfigured musical genius who lurks in the darkest recesses of the theatre. Andrew Lloyd Webber's adaptation of the classic tale gets its movie debut, and a big, glossy, shiny, singy thing it is too.
