Thirteen year old Janey and her family move to their quiet rural cottage for their annual holiday. Unfortunately for Janey, her simple idyll is about to be severely battered by the now indifferent partnership of her mother and father; who shroud their increasingly meaningless marriage with a constant flow of parties. It is at one of these drunken gatherings that Janey discovers too early her burgeoning sexuality... Rain is an atmospheric and unsentimental drama, sensitively performed and adeptly directed.
