Plot

Emily Delahunty is a successful romantic writer, living out her slightly eccentric existence in the beautiful rural idyll of Umbria. Catching a train to Milan for her regular shopping trip Emily quietly observes her fellow passengers, unaware that a murderous act of violence is about to draw them all together. My House In Umbria is adapted from William Trevor's novel and is a genteel drama of tragedy, friendship and re-birth set in the distractingly stunning Italian countryside.
