An ancient shrine is discovered buried deep within the Antarctic ice, encouraging an elite group of explorers and scientists, under the financial umbrella of a corporate mogul, to investigate its hidden treasures. What the hapless band discover are two alien creatures, one is the ultimate killer, the other is the ultimate hunterÂ…..bugger! This inevitable composite of two of the movies' best intergalactic killers does exactly what you'd expect, yes it stands up badly in comparison to the original films, but "Alien vs Predator" is no-nonsense special effects driven action schlock, and this it achieves admirably.
