A reborn Rasputin, a lethal bondage clad Nazi and a portal that will herald the end of humanity as we know it are but a few of the problems facing the CIA's most unconventional agent; there's the tricky matter of his love life too. Hellboy is a highly entertaining movie adaptation of the Dark Horse comic, the story's bananas, the action set pieces come thick and fast, there's a dry self-deprecating wit and as you'd expect from a Guillermo Del Toro film, it's not short of visual style.
