Plot
Sumptuous romantic epic set in the troubled Ireland of 1916. Young Rosy Ryan marries the kindly but dull local schoolteacher, but is soon sneaking off to the woods with a dashing shell-shocked English officer. However her secret passion is threatened by the indignant Brit hating locals.
