Paul meets Juliette and they fall in love; Paul also meets Billy, a man drawn to hedonism in all its glorious and reckless forms; Paul is confused, aware that he is at an emotional cross-roads but ultimately unwilling to make the choice until time inevitably makes it for him. The Principles Of Lust is a brutal, gritty drama, unflinching in its depiction of life on the ragged edge of British urban culture, a little bit pop vid meets Trainspotting but affecting nonetheless.
