Reuben is an anally repressed control freak, he's also just got married to the girl of his dreams, unfortunately while on their honeymoon he discovers her dreams are rather more muscled than his. Alone and dejected Reuben meets an old school friend, Polly, whose ‘one day at a time' lifestyle is the antithesis of his ordered existence; is this true love? Can Reuben relax a bit? Haven't we seen Stiller doing this before?….a lot. Along Came Polly is a fun, utterly unoriginal, romantic farce that relies very much upon how much you like the two leads.
