A group of student archaeologists are busy picking away at the remnants of a 14th century French dig when they suddenly realise their professor is no longer with them. Immediately dispelling the idea that he's nipped off to the local bar for a few swift ones, they instead travel back in time to save him from the heat of a bloody tribal war. Taken from a Michael Crichton novel, Timeline is an entertainingly silly slice of action, adventure hokum, switch off, tune out, tune in…cool!!
