Set during the 1950s Joe is not your average drifter, intelligent, divisive, morally lacking and lusty. When Les hires him to work on his wife's barge, he has no idea what a liability he has invited into his home. The discovery of a girl's body in the water escalates an already tense and sexually charged environment and introduces the possibility of murder.
