Navy Seal commander AK Waters is a man who always goes by the book, but when he's sent to a battle ravaged nation in Africa his priorities begin to become infected by his conscience. As a consequence he resolves to make a decision that may prove fatal for his men but brings hope to the refugees that he has been ordered to leave behind. Tears of The Sun is that slightly uncomfortable mixture of hard arsed action and emotionally wrought drama, but it's well performed, directed and if the slightly clomping morality isn't an issue then enjoy ye'self.
