Bristle's finest animation team have produced this showcase of their much loved Creature Comfort characters. Highlights include a pair of very dry-humoured circus monkeys, a beautifully observed upbeat guide dog and a pair of slugs discussing gardening. The six shorts are set in familiar locations and are drawn from real interviews with people of differing levels of sanity, the animators clearly relished bringing out the ridiculous in our inane chatterings. The expressions of the hypochondriac dog at the vets are a good example of Aardman's willingness to poke fun at easy targets whilst giving a great deal of pathos to their victims.
