Plot

1920's Chicago is a pretty kicking place, and nightclub sensation Velma Kelley is the hottest ticket around; but when she comes out the winner in a bit of fatal domestic violence she finds herself banged up with only slick celebrity lawyer Billy Flynn to save her. A fellow inmate in the clink is stardom hungry Roxie Hart, a woman who would like nothing more than to wrest Velam's crown from her. Chicago is a real showbiz song and dance extravaganza, think Moulin Rouge with more glitz and more fun.
