Prosperity, Arizona is a sleepy little desert town but when some toxic waste falls into the local river and a spider collector allows his little eight legged buddies an opportunity to sample the fallout, all hell breaks lose. Before they know where they are the inhabitants are dying (horribly) by the bucket load and the ravenous arachnids have become the size of cars. Eight Legged Freaks is a hugely entertaining tongue-in-cheek homage to the B Movie monster beasty flick, every cheesy cliché of the genre has been faithfully observed and the special effects are superb.
