Jonathan Cross is the latest superstar of the violent sport of Rollerball, but though he glories in the fame and fortune he quickly discovers that the game has become corrupt and sets out to stop those responsible before he suffers a terminal 'sporting' accident. Good god this is crap, even if you ignore the vastly superior film that this takes its name from, Rollerball (the remake) is utterly without merit, a terrible script, awful acting, cheap sets, cheesy stunts and lobotomised direction....in a warped way almost an achievement
