DESERT BLUE (1998)
MORGAN J FREEMAN
Plot
Blue is a teenager who grew up in Baxter, California...a town that is only on the map because it was home to the largest model of an ice cream cone in the world. His friends are either pyros with too much time on their hands, adventurous 4-wheelers or kids in dead-end jobs. When Skye, a cable television actress, passes through with her father, Blue and the town of Baxter are not going to be the same. When the town is quarantined tension starts running high and secrets start to come out, not just about the townspeople but also about the history of the town. A very decent teen drama free from most of the traditional teen cliches with an extremely talented cast.
