Colin Briggs is serving a sentence for murder when he meets fellow inmate Fergus, the old-timer introduces Colin to the passion of gardening and so impressive is their work that the prison governor and local gardening author, Georgina Woodhouse, encourage the idea of a prison show garden. Greenfingers is a very likeable comedy drama based on a true story, an amiable tale of the highly improbable becoming the possible.
