Nathan Muir is a CIA officer whose young protégé, Tom, has just landed himself in a Chinese prison and is facing execution for spying. When Muir calls on his bosses to help Tom, he meets a wall of shifty silence and it soon becomes clear they are preparing to cut his friend lose. SpyGame is a slick thriller alternating between Muir's cunning attempts to play his devious employers at their own game and flashbacks of his and Tom's many dodgy missions around the world.
