Sissi works in the Birkenhof asylum as a psychiatric nurse where she carries out her duties with patience and understanding. When she is saved from a near fatal accident by a mysterious stranger Sissi becomes convinced he is the key to her future. As it turns out her saviour is Bodo, a bank robber who initially has no interest in the sweet but intense nurse…. though events are about to take yet another dramatic turn.
