One of the finest dramas to come from America's shores for sometime (and that's acknowledging that there's some pretty stiff competition) the West Wing follows the exploits, adventures, dodgy dealings and every day ordered chaos that makes up the inner circle of the most powerful man in the world, The American President. As in anything this classy it is 'drama' in the true sense of the word, humour, tragedy and everyday, told and performed superbly. The lobby groups are at it again and though the staff have little difficulty dealing with UFO funding and Wolf highways they find themselves at loggerheads over a banking bill; while the non-political world overpowers the West Wing in the form of a class 4 hurricane.
