Review
This above average noir thriller comes to you from Brian DePalma, as he continues to veer wildly between respected creator of modern classics (Scarface, Carrie) and idiot pimp (Mission To Mars). Frequently criticised for being a misogynist, DePalma surgically separates himself from his woman-hating alter-ego, Michael Winner, and has come up with a film about a dangerous, conniving lady, intent on screwing over men. In a decent homage to the 'Double Indemnity' style of movie, it has some nicely surreal dialogue and a couple of decent plot twists. Banderas doesn't say 'Whaat a beyoooootifull woooman' once and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos is pretty good at playing the femme fatale. Bit stoopid though.
