Channel 4's highly controversial, supposedly subversive gayfest is, in actual fact, a brilliant, well written and highly addictive series in which the lead characters happen to be gay. Okay, there's one fairly graphic shagging scene quite early on which'll probably have the homophobes shifting uncomfortably in their seats, but that's not the point of it at all. Stuart is a stud, 29 years old, successful, arrogant, supremely confident, highly promiscuous and drop dead gorgeous, he prowls Manchester's gay nightspots with the absolute knowledge that he can have whatever and whoever takes his fancy. Vince, his best mate, is cute and kind and, secretly, hopelessly in love with Stuart. And then there's Nathan; fifteen, dangerously pretty, positively bursting out of the closet and determined, in the way that only a fifteen year old can be, that he's not going to be just another notch on Stuart's bedpost.
