A supernatural chiller of the good old-fashioned kind, based on a novel by top horror writer Dean Koontz, set in a sleepy, hicksville town whose inhabitants have come over all dead. Returning home from a trip with her rebel townie sister, a young woman discovers that the entire population of Snowfield has either vanished or been gruesomely slaughtered. Initially cheered by the arrival of three cops, the girls soon realise that there must be Dark Forces at work, and the long arm of the law may not provide the helping hand they're expecting.
