Very realistic battle scenes between tiny motor torpedo boats, which covered the retreat of US forces from the Philippines in the wake of Pearl Harbor, and large Japenese cruisers make an authentic and exciting homage to the men who gave up their lives in dangerous Pacific manoeuveres. A Western at sea from Ford and Wayne.
