An American journalist and her French lover, a commercial filmmaker, both of whom were 1968 revolutionary faithfuls, are abducted by striking workers in a sausage factory. A clever and witty swipe at the honesty and depth of our beliefs, our underlying class relationships and, at least in this film, an examination of personal relationships.
