Luscious sets, and a high-class cast bring Isabel Allende's acclaimed story to life. We follow the lives and loves of the turbulent Trueba family set against the backdrop of revolutionary Chile, through fifty years of strife. Although slightly emotionless, it is beautifully acted and directed.
