An elegantly made look at the day in the life of a gay yuppie couple in swinging Manhattan. Robert is leaving for Africa, and his relationship with lover Michael is threatened by the presence of Mike's ex, who is suffering from AIDS. Well written and tenderly directed. Excellent low-key drama.
