Murray, a once proud fisherman is now, along with his former colleagues in the harbour of Tickle Cove, out of work and forced to live off welfare.  But when a giant corporation approaches with the offer to build a factory it looks like their prayers may be answered; there’s just one problem, in order to qualify they must have a doctor in residence, something they’ve long lost. A remake of the French Canadian film, Grand Seduction is a sweet, slightly quirky, but not entirely successful homage to ‘Local Hero’.
