Captain Jack Sparrow once again manages to drag all those who owe him nothing into a race against time to save his worthless, but charming, soul. On this occasion it's the infamous Davy Jones who has dibs on the master of the ‘Black Pearl', and only if Jack can steal the fabled dead man's chest might he escape his grim fate. 'Pirates Of The Caribbean 2' is a very similar but less entertaining retread of the first film, and as pop corn escapism it has much to recommend it, but two and half hours, for God's sake…. Why?!
