It's hard enough being the nerdy new guy on campus without also being the new girl on campus, who has fallen for the coolest guy on campus, who is totally obsessed with the most beautiful girl on campus, who is crushing on the nerdy new guy on campus. Yet another Hollywood teen movie that deftly reduces Shakespeare's work to something you could scrawl on a train ticket (though it is only one of his ‘comedies'), this time I suspect it was once Twelfth Night. Somehow, however, this manages to make some interesting comments on gender, with decent use of physical comedy and Amanda Bynes is pretty good as a ridiculous send-up of a teenage boy.
