Ramon Sampedro has been on an unusual quest for over thirty years, almost completely paralysed he has been fighting for the right to legally end his life. Based on a true story The Sea Inside is a tale of extraordinary beauty; exemplary performances and thoughtful direction have created something that seems to contradict Ramon's desire, because against all logic this film is a celebration of life. Deeply thoughtful and immensely moving.
