Northfork is a mythical tale of loss and resurrection, continuing The Polish Brothers' cinematic obsession with the American heartland and the country's shifting dreams and visions. It is 1955 and the barren town of Northfork is quite literally about to be 'dammed'. Plans for a new hydro-electric plant in the area mean that the plains on which the town stands are soon to be flooded.
