60s folk music was big business and ‘The Folksmen', ‘The New Main Street Singers' and ‘Mitch and Mickey' were at the top of the heap. Forty years later and in honour of their recently deceased manager, these musical icons decide to reform and put on a show at New York's town hall. Just like Best in Show, Spinal Tap and Waiting for Guffman, Christopher Guest has crafted an acutely observed mockumentary, sublimely eccentric, gently satirical and with numerous one liners that are delivered with an utterly convincing lack of fuss by the pitch perfect cast.
