Michael Jennings is a computer whiz, he works for conglomerates on projects so secret that he wipes his memory on completion of the job, so negating the worry of leaked information. When Michael emerges from his latest freelance he is understandably concerned to find he agreed to forfeit his sizeable paycheck just prior to completion. At first outraged, Michael gradually begins to piece together the clues he has been left and so begins a not unfamiliar race against time to find the truth before bad people terminate his ability to breath. Paycheck is yet another movie of a Philip K Dick story and quite a generic hash of it John Woo has managed, not helped by the monkey boy who scripted it. A big budget action duffer.
