Frankie Delano is local mafia boss Angelo's bodyguard, when his employer is gunned down Frankie vows to keep Angelo's daughter safe, a woman who has no idea of her infamous upbringing. Together the two of them are forced into hiding by an assassin determined to see the last vestiges of Angelo's empire laid to rest. Avenging Angelo is an action thriller with a sizeable dollop of humour and while no classic it's definitely one of Stallone's most entertaining flicks for some time.
