A very honest biopic, telling the story of Dian Fossey, the woman who gave her life to study and protect the African mountain gorillas. Sigourney Weaver narrowly missed an Oscar for her superb portrayal of this brave and determined, if at times unlikeable, woman and the dangerous tactics that killed her.
