'Rubber' is the story of Robert, an inanimate tyre abandoned in the desert that suddenly and inexplicably comes to life. It discovers that it possesses terrifying telepathic powers that give it the ability to destroy anything it wishes and while, at first, content to prey on small desert creatures its attention soon turns to humans.
