What can I say? The Fellowship of the Ring is all right if you like that kind of Sword and Sorcery thing? Small, cute whee people being chased hither and thither by all kinds of monstrous beasties. It takes a bit of time to get going, but once everyone’s been introduced, Peter Jackson’s shameless three part adaptation of a 300 page book oozes with high end CGI bang and dazzle. Perfect big budget fluff.
