Will Stronghold is just your average teenage kid, unfortunately his mum and dad are Commander and Jetstream, the world's greatest superheroes. As Will prepares for hero high school his lack of powers looks set to relegate him to the sidekick class, an appalling thought for his proud and egotistical parents. Sky High is an undemanding delight, a gentle but enjoyably executed satire on the superhero genre and, indeed, Kurt Russell's own action man status, with just enough special effects and adven find out more...

" well that's because every time I seem to find some kind of balance between being a selfless superhero, altruistic best buddy and faultless boyfriend it all goes horribly, horribly wrong want to make something of it?". Spidey finds himself battling a vengeful, but guilt stricken, Sandman, an extra terrestrial gloup that brings out his dark "me, me, me" Saturday Night Fever side and a truly scary fanged venom, in this third instalment of Peter Parker's day to day turmoi find out more...

There's hardly anything I would improve about this film. The visuals, concepts, soundtrack, characters, pace, humour and animation are all some of the best I've ever seen in any film; I was worried the hype would ruin it for me, as it always does, but not even the group of kids in the theatre who wouldn't stop loudly talking could ruin it for me. When Britt Reid’s zillionaire publishing father dies his consumptive slacker lifestyle loses some of its edge, but, when he hooks up with gadget wiz and martial arts master Kato, he finally finds a purpose as the ‘Green Hornet’, scourge of LA’s criminal underworld. 'The Green Hornet' is a surprisingly lacklustre action comedy, despite Gondry’s direction, though Christoph Waltz as the insecure arch villain is a comic joy. It does the business, I just hoped it would be a little less jobsworth. find out more...
