Juvenile delinquent bikers form a beat group and sing and play cool Shadows-esque numbers. This colour film provides an excellent window into 1962 British working class teenage culture. Beat music by Valerie Mountain and the Eagles (no, not the Hotel California Eagles). Highlight scenes include: motorcycle gang wearing tight jeans, black leather jackets, and white silk scarves and looking perfect! Teenage girl sits in bathtub wearing jeans to shrink them skin-tight. Badly scripted, poorly directed (don't really want to blame anyone else, but I'm sure others are culpable), we got this largely because our shop is briefly i find out more...
YAM (2004)

Pam's just your average middle aged woman, understood by few, acknowledged by even fewer, but when she discovers the joys of yam, her life takes a turn for the affirmative, and an unexpected fast track to the media limelight. A home-grown Bristolian satire that is a bit of an enigma, I mean is the acting deliberately awful to somehow compliment the cheesy dialogue or are they mutually exclusive? Either way the combination makes for a very uncomfortable cinematic experience. An interesting premis find out more...
