Derek Jarman faces up to AIDS, the loss of loved ones, the breakdown of the body, blindness and his own approaching fall into the void. The constant blue screen provides a backdrop for Jarman's words, which are delivered by a host of famous voices. His eloquence, and unsentimental account of his own plight are deeply moving. A challenging and abstract film. The dvd contains Glitterbug, a 60 minute collage of Jarman's super 8 footage which he shot between 1970-1986.

'John's Not Mad' is a documentary aimed at pointing out to viewers what was at the time a little known condition, 'Tourettes Syndrome'. Mr Moore is at it again, trashing the core values of ‘The Land of the Brave and the Free', this time it's the ripoff American health service, a system which despite its huge cost is one of the least effective in the ‘developed' world.
